1 Corinthians 15:57-58 – But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Meditation – what if no one notices? What if no one pats us on the back or provides words of encouragement to us? A true test of discipleship is whether we will stay the course even when the path seems lonely. On this journey, There will be far too many days where no one will say anything to us; in those moments, will we value our discipleship any less? If so, what was our initial purpose for taking on this work? people won’t always heed our words; we’ll have to stand alone on occasion; it might feel like we’re all alone; but, will we still be willing to remain steadfast, moving forward with the same zeal and enthusiasm we had when we first began with the Lord? Our work for The Lord is never in vain. We have the victory. Keep working.
